Benghazi Monument & Museum Project is the first monument built in Libya following the revolution in 2011. The project consists of 12 m high monument, 4,500 m2 of museum, conference hall, library and offices together with a 10,500 m2 of exterior roads, walking areas and landscaping.
4,500 m2 of marble and travertine were used in different parts of the project.
Two model airplanes are placed in the open air as a part of the exterior landscaping design.
